How has the city changed during documenta? This exhibition will present the results of 100 school workshops conducted by members of the Chorus in collaboration with school students.
Place of 100 Places: Kassel, the documenta City was a series of workshops focused on the relationships between the City of Kassel and documenta as viewed from a number of different perspectives. The participants were invited to assume various roles, including those of local residents, visitors, artistic directors, documenta management, artists, the mayor, and journalists to develop alternative models and visions of the future for the city and documenta. The workshops are based on artistic research methods conceived by artist Anton Kats.
