Deep listening experience
11 am–2 pm
Old Library, Athens School of Fine Arts, Pireos 256, Athens

A very special opportunity to engage in Deep Listening practices with acclaimed writer and listening expert IONE. The Deep Listening Institute (DLI), currently The Center for Deep Listening at the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, NY, continues to promote the music and Deep Listening practice of pioneer composer Pauline Oliveros (1932–2016). Providing a unique approach to music, literature, art, meditation, technology, and healing, the institute has fostered creative innovation across boundaries and abilities, among artists and audiences, musicians and non-musicians, healers and the physically or cognitively challenged, and children of all ages. The ever-growing community of musicians, artists, scientists, and certified Deep Listening practitioners strives for a heightened consciousness of the world of sound and the sounds of the world.

Participation is limited, please RSVP to aneducation [at] documenta.de.
